To mark the end of term for July 2007, the students had put on a performance. The Lord Mayor and Mayoress for Oadby and Wigston, Jeffery and Lily Kaufman, were present and presented all of the students with their certificates, after which Jeff said that "Oadby Nishar is one of the gems of Oadby".

We pride ourselves in the quality of services that we deliver and are constantly seeking to improve these services for the benefit of our members.

We asked our students to give us the honest truth about what they thought of their respective classes. We regret that we cold not include comments from ALL of our students as this is not practical.

Devina (Bollywood Dance)
"I get to entertain my family at home with the dances I learn."







Nehal (Gujarati)
"Gujarati is really fun! I have learnt the whole alphabet and I'm so close to reading and writing. It's best to start young so you can learn it quickly. I am doing this so that I can speak to my grand parents and my parents. I like Gujarati."
Alisha (Harmonuim)
"I like playing the Harmonium and I like the class and the teacher. I have learnt both Western and Indian notes. I have done two performances. My parents are proud of me. We have learnt lots of songs."

Gaurav (Tabla)
"I love Oadby Nishar. It is very good and it has helped me at improving my tabla. Now when I play, it sounds good."




Kiran (Bollywood Dance)
"I's a good form of exercise and a lively atmosphere. It has helped me perform at family weddings."




Riya (Gujarati)
"I like Gujarati because it is interesting to learn a new language. Also you learn a whole new alphabet and learn how to speak it. I like doing the speaking exercises as it helps you learn the language."

"I like the Oadby Nishar tabla class. we learn new tunes."

"I like Harmonium classes because it's really fun and you get to learn some new songs. I liked the performance but I felt nervous. I like the teacher because she's funny and explains properly what we have to do."

"I like learning new notations. Learning how to play in different ways. Like doing performances. The pace of the class is right. Certificates are encouraging. Classes are can be fun and enjoyable."
